Lieutenant General John E. Wissler, USMC (retired) is the founder and President of JPW Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm serving private sector and government clients through leadership and culture development, team building, logistics operations, and strategic planning. General Wissler founded JPW Solutions in 2017 following over 39 years of service in the United States Marine Corps where he commanded every level from platoon to Marine Corps Component command, and served for 34 months in combat operations in Iraq between 2003 and 2010.
General Wissler has used his experience developing and training some of the highest-skilled teams in the world to benefit his clients. In addition to his service to the Saint John XXIII Foundation, he serves on the Military Advisory Board of the First Command Financial Services, is a Director on the Severn Leadership Group Board of Directors, is the Distinguished Chair of Leadership in the VADM Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership at the U.S. Naval Academy, and serves a member of the Australian Northern Territory Strategic Defence Advisory Group. Among his many prized achievements, General Wissler has been designated as an Honorary Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy and as an Honorary Marine in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps.
General Wissler and his wife Sue have six children and six grandchildren, and live in Northern Virginia.
