Financial Information

The primary responsibility of the Saint John XXIII Foundation is to grow and manage its investment portfolio valued at approximately 19M from which it makes annual grants to support the Foundation’s mission of, “Nourishing the Faith of Catholics in the Armed Forces and Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.”  
 
The two primary funds of the Foundation are:
 
The Endowed Scholarship Fund, which allows the Foundation to each year underwrite a substantial portion of the costs associated with the education and formation of seminarians who will serve as future Military Chaplains.
 
The General Endowed Fund which allows the Foundation to respond to the most pressing needs of the Archdiocese for the Military Services and its affiliated organizations.
