In October 2022, the Board of Directors of the Saint John XXIII Foundation created the Patrons of the Saint John XXIII Foundation to perpetually support the pastoral ministry of Catholics in the Armed Forces, patients in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, and United States government personnel serving outside of the United States.
The Patrons are individuals or couples who contribute a gift or pledge of $25,000* or more to the Endowment of the Foundation. Through their gifts, patrons are investing in the Foundation’s mission of “Nourishing the Faith of Catholics in the Armed Forces and Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Centers.”
The investment income generated annually by the Endowment of the Saint John XXIII Foundation will support various projects and programs including the education and formation of seminarians who will serve as Military Chaplains, Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and the education and formation of Catholic Priests who will minister to patients in the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.

*Pledges can be paid over a period of up to five years. Patrons can elevate their support level by adding to an existing gift or pledge.
